MOUNTAIN TRAINER 2 GTX® Approach Gore-Tex® Shoes

Designed in Montebelluna, the cradle of alpine footwear craftsmanship, our MTN Trainer 2 is a durable and versatile low-cut alpine approach shoe, with upper in high quality 1.6 mm suede and Vibram sole. Its sturdy upper features a full protective rubber ride that ensures abrasion resistance on rocky terrain and joints, plus a quick-drying GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort lining for durable waterproofing and optimized breathability. In addition, it is equipped with a protective elasticated gaiter under the laces that does not let rain and water on the ground enter.
The new construction of the last is 15% lighter and more flexible than the original and guarantees a comfortable fit, while the expanded PU midsole ensures shock absorption and long-lasting cushioning. The multifunctional Vibram sole allows you to move with agility and stability on difficult terrain. Its deep, self-cleaning grooves and strong lugs ensure excellent grip on rocks and scree, as well as optimal traction on mud and grass. Under the midfoot there is a specific area of ​​the sole for via ferratas and equipped with right-angled blocks that maximize the force applied to the entire sole of the foot, for a better grip on the rungs of the iron stairs than a conventional shoe. Our unique 3F system connects the instep area with the sole and heel for flexibility, a precise fit and support. The cushioning Ortholite insole wicks away moisture to help your feet stay cool.
The climbing lacing can be adjusted at the toe for a greater level of precision and support on technical terrain. MTN Trainer 2 is made in Europe and presents itself as the perfect solution for the alpine approach in technical excursions, via ferratas and trekking in all conditions and on remote terrain.
