MS RAPACE GTX

The Rapace GTX is a lightweight boot for mountaineering, combining a durable nubuck and a waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX® protection.

A reassuring grip, comfort and support - the SALEWA solution for via ferrata and mountaineering. The Rapace GTX presents our 3F System for ankle support, flexibility and a perfect fit, as well as a posterior ankle mobility enhanced by the Flex Collar. The Vibram® WTC sole has aggressive tread blocks that allow good traction, guaranteeing a natural gait and maximum safety on rock, and thanks to the Bilight technology midsole long lasting cushioning is ensured compared to traditional soles.

Inside the boot, SALEWA's Bilight TPU technology in the midsole ensures an ergonomic roll and long-lasting cushioning for extra comfort. The Rapace GTX is also sufficiently rigid to be used with semi-automatic crampons. In addition, the GORE-TEX® Performance Comfort membrane guarantees optimal thermal comfort if the weather closes and there is an integral rubber edge for protection against rocks and stones.
