TECHNOLOGIES

OCEAN UPCYCLING
Over 8 million tons of garbage end up in our oceans each year, which endangers the habitat of many animals. Together with its partner SEAQUAL ™, PAC wants to support the "Clean Oceans" mission by using only recycled sea plastic and PET for the production of multifunctional fabric.
Much of the garbage sinks to the bottom of the sea and is initially no longer visible. However, animals that live in the sea eat this garbage and die painfully from it. The "Clean Seas" mission involves over 400 fishing boats and 1,500 fishermen who collect waste from fishing nets every day. The recovered plastic waste is then washed, crushed and transformed into granules, from which the fully recycled polyester thread is made.
