Men's X ULTRA 3 MID GTX Hiking Gore-Tex® Shoes
A best-selling shoe, the X ULTRA ™ MID 3 GTX has evolved to deliver superior performance to hiking enthusiasts. Thanks to Descent Control technology, it faces energetically the technical trails, giving the best of itself in the most demanding descents. Put it on and go downhill with the turbo on your feet, even in wet conditions.
Tightness
The perfected shape works in synergy with the upper part of the SensiFit ™ system, keeping the foot comfortably in place especially when running downhill.
Stability and cushioning
The Advanced Chassis ™, lined with cushioning foam for added comfort, is directly connected to the sole to stabilize the heel.
Grip
Two different types of rubber for better grip. The special insert at the heel adheres better to the ground, offering greater control especially on descents.
TECHNOLOGIES
CHASSIS ™: Advanced Chassis ™
In addition to optimizing motion control and energy management, the lightweight Advanced Chassis ™ placed between the sole and midsole improves foot protection during the thrust phase, for a reactive, effective and stable roll.
UPPER CONSTRUCTION: SensiFit ™
The SensiFit ™ construction wraps the foot from the midsole to the lacing system, ensuring a precise, secure and practically personalized fit.
MEMBRANE: GORE-TEX®
GORE-TEX® keeps feet dry, both inside and out.
Chevron lugs
Deep groove knobs and multidirectional grip, to improve traction on soft surfaces such as mud or loose earth.
Contagrip® TD
Designed for maximum traction on mixed terrain and ultra strength, the Contagrip® TD outsole combines a deep and aggressive tread pattern with our strongest compound.
EnergyCell ™
High-performance EVA foam for excellent shock absorption.
PU-coated leather
Polyurethane-coated leather, which protects and makes it more robust, making it last longer.
Water repellent
The waterproof material does not let water permeate even under pressure. The waterproof shoes completely prevent water from penetrating through the upper.
Fabric and mesh lining
Soft and breathable lining for extreme comfort.
Gusseted tongue
The tongue, joined to the upper on both sides, remains well centered and prevents debris from entering the shoe.
Toe protection
A protection in rubber, leather or synthetic material in the toe area.
Protective mudguard
A layer of leather, synthetic material or rubber around the base of the foot that protects the medial and lateral sides.
Contoured OrthoLite®
Contoured to fit the contours of your foot, this OrthoLite® insole provides superior cushioning, but also breathability and durability, to optimize comfort and performance of our footwear.
Regular lacing
Traditional lacing system with eyelets.
