From hiking to climbing and vice versa
The Wildfire Edge are technical approach shoes that can be adapted from hiking mode to climbing mode. Designed in collaboration with mountain guides and professional climbers from the Dolomites, the Salewa Switchfit system is as simple as it is intelligent. Just fasten them using the additional eyelet for a snug fit. In this way, you can push your foot forward towards the toe, compressing the toes as if it were a climbing shoe, for better grip and grip and greater safety on technical terrain. To return to excursion mode, loosen the laces to save space on the toe and for greater comfort on the go.

GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort
Inside the upper in suede and microfiber, highly resistant to abrasion, the membrane in GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort, thin and extremely breathable , offers maximum comfort in the most diverse climatic conditions, protecting you from humidity and rain. Keeps feet dry by allowing water vapor to disperse outside.

Climbing Accuracy
To further improve climbing accuracy, the Wildfire Edge's insole also incorporates a rigid Edging Plate just below the toe climbing area, for a greater directional stiffness, while the rest of the insole is flexible, to offer comfort and favor the natural rolling motion of the foot.

Adhesive friction
The Pomoca Speed MTN sole is made of an adhesive rubber compound for high friction on smooth rocks and slabs. The sole features special lugs that offer better traction on mud and soft ground. It has been designed to offer optimal grip in both wet and dry conditions.

Alpine Fit
For improved torsional stability, the Exa lining protects and wraps the foot, preventing it from slipping inside. The 3F system wraps the foot to ensure a good fit, offer support and allow flexibility. With the Climbing Lacing system the laces reach up to the fingers, allowing a more precise fit and a greater possibility of adjustment. The Multi Fit Footbed Plus (MFF +) insole uses interchangeable layers that you can adapt to the shape of your foot, supporting our patented Alpine Fit brand without blisters, guaranteed 100%.
