Shoes MS WILDFIRE EDGE MID GTX Trekking Gore-Tex® Man

Walk, climb and return in comfort in different weather conditions, all in one shoe. The Wildfire Edge Mid GORE-TEX® model is a unique technical solution for mountaineers, climbers and climbers who want an approach shoe with improved climbing performance. The footwear uses Salewa Switchfit, a simple and intelligent system that allows you to quickly adapt the fit from hiking to climbing, offering a compression on the toe similar to that of a climbing shoe. Just tighten the laces to push the foot forward into the toe. Once you've finished climbing, simply put the laces back in their original position for a wider toe and greater comfort on the hike.

To further improve climbing precision, the Wildfire Edge insole also incorporates a plate just under the side of the foot and big toe, for greater stiffness, while the rest of the sole remains flexible and responsive, so as to ensure comfort and natural foot movement. The 11 mm thickness is also ideal for quick approaches or for greater grip during crossings.

The lightweight, flexible, mid-height upper is made from high-quality 1.6mm thick suede, while the Exa lining provides better torsional stability and works in conjunction with the 3F system to wrap the foot and offer better flexibility, fit and support.

Inside, the GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort lining has durable waterproof and breathable properties and keeps precipitation or groundwater out, while easily expelling sweat. An elasticated gaiter increases protection from snow, scree and debris. Thanks to the MFF + insole it is also possible to customize the internal volume.

The Wildfire Edge Mid GORE-TEX® sole is made of Pomoca Speed ​​MTN Pro, containing a rubber butyl compound that offers better grip and friction on rock, in both dry and wet conditions. The sole has a precision climbing zone at the toe, good edging and spaced grooves, so as to improve traction on soft ground such as mud and grass.
